As the budget baby of the RDNA 3 family, the RX 7600 faces a lot of competition. Not just from Intel and Nvidia, but from AMD's older generation of cards too. At this price, though, it's quite a bit cheaper than the RX 6700 XT and in some games, it performs nearly as well, as you can see in our review. It's not the most exciting of graphics cards, though.

Entry-level RTX 50 series cards won't be available for a while, so Nvidia's current cheapest entry point is the RTX 4060. While faster than the RTX 3060, as shown in our review, the price suggests it should have been better. You do get the full DLSS 3.5 suite, though, and it's pretty decent at encoding video for streaming. Nevertheless, we prefer AMD's RX 7600 or last-gen RX 6700.

The RTX 4060 Ti might have received a rocky reception with its 8GB of VRAM, but we found it to perform very well in our review. It's a solid mid-range performer, particularly with the ability to take advantage of DLSS 3 and Frame Generation. Stocks are very low, though, so prices are extremely variable.

The Radeon RX 7700 XT might lose out to its bigger brother, the RX 7800 XT, but if you're building a system on a budget it still makes a great mid-range card for solid 1440p gaming, as we found in our review of the Sapphire model. As with all RDNA 3 cards, though, stocks are dwindling rapidly.

As you can see in our full review, the RX 7800 XT is only slightly faster than the RX 6800 XT it replaced, but it has a more modern feature set and copes much better with ray tracing. Stocks are now super low, which means prices are high, like this offer. But if you want AMD's best current mid-range GPU, that's what you'll need to pay.

While the RTX 4060 isn't exactly one of our favourite graphics cards of all time, it's still capable of delivering good 1080p and 1440p performance thanks to DLSS 3. This little model has a twin-fan cooler and should slot into almost any modern system with no fuss at all. At this price, as budget GPUs go, it's a bit of a steal.

The RTX 4070 is an absolute stalwart of GPUs, delivering superb mid-range performance for something approaching reasonable money. The RTX 4070 Super still feels like it's only been out for five minutes, but here it is with a particularly decent discount. We found it was between 10% to 18% faster than the OG RTX 4070, although whether that's worth the price difference compared to the deal above is something for you to decide for yourself. Still, it's a fantastic mid-range gaming card.

Seeing a bunch of RX 7900 XTs selling for well less than the original MSRP is a welcome sight, and while they might get overshadowed by some of Nvidia's greatest, they deliver a huge amount of performance. What we like about the XFX with its triple-fan array in particular is that it should run quieter than your average RX 7900 XT. We could all do with a little less noise from our PC.

This is quite the jump in pricing compared to the RTX 4070 Super, but it's quite the jump in performance, too. If you're looking for a card that can really deliver the goods yet can't quite stretch to the RTX 4080 Super below, the RTX 4070 Ti Super is a seriously powerful GPU that would be worthy of any gaming rig.

Over last year's sales period, the Radeon RX 7900 XTX was much cheaper and sold like proverbial hotcakes. Unfortunately, that means stocks are super low everywhere but the odd deal does pop up, like this nice PowerColor model. It's still not great value for money, so only buy one if you absolutely must have AMD's most powerful GPU.
